Hi Rob,

I was at your workshop in January at Nova. I took the exam in february (for the first time) and recently got the results that I passed!!

Just wanted to share the good news with you and say thanks. I only used your materials to study.

Hi Rob,

First of all, I passed my exam with a score of 165. Your workshop was the absolute best. You helped me organize the information and did an overall excellent job of preparing me for the exam. I scheduled two hypnotherapy sessions with another one of your students, David Von Kohorn. He was incredible! I had almost no anxiety going into the exam and I was able to retrieve the answers with ease. This is the first standardized test that I have ever taken where I did not get physically sick due to anxiety. Anyway, thank you for just being you!
Thanks again for all of your help!

Hi Rob,
Thank you so much for a workshop that was geared to address the ambiguity that we all struggle with in preparing for the MFT exam. I had attempted a self-study approach to the exam the first time around and failed. The FSI study materials and the workshop were certainly the difference in my confidence level this time! I passed with 170 out of 200 questions answered correctly. Keep up the good work.

Hi Rob,
I talked to you shortly after I took the exam Feb 2 and you asked that I let you know if I passed. Wooooo Hooooo, thats a “yes” I passed…171 with passing being 140.

I’m one of those old grandfathered in people (29 yrs doing therapy)…and you were right..don’t think like a therapist. Your book and cd’s helped the most.

I took the exam because I’m moving to the Boston area from Wisconsin, so perhaps we’ll meet sometime. Thanks again for your help and your willingness to communicate in email and phone.

Hey Rob.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for putting together all the Family Solutions materials!!

I attended the seminar at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary back in November and used the FSI materials to study for the exam.

I took the exam in January, and just received word that I PASSED! I not only passed, I passed with flying colors. Passing was 140, I scored 176.

The only other material I used to study was the Nichols and Swartz text and the HIPAA.gov information. Honestly, both of those comprised about 10% of my study time.

Thanks again for all of your help and outstanding customer service!

I took the exam on Monday, February 2, and I received my results today! I passed! I studied the FSO material only for approximately 3 weeks.

Thank you so much Family Solutions!

My name is Scott Kaminsky…and I bought the Family Solutions Study Guide/Software to prep for the MFT Exam…I took the exam on Feb 06, 2009…and found out Friday, Mar 6, 2009 that I passed with a 151…75.5% pass rate. In Kansas, this allows me to have a LMFT License, and to pursue a License Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist credential. This is amazing because I graduated with my MS in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1999; a lot has changed in Marriage and Family theory and practice. The Study guide, CD, practice test and other materials were very helpful and instrumental in enabling me to pass the MFT exam…It is worth the cost!!! Thanks a million…

Hi Rob, I hope you remember me, one of the 7 from the Hispanic group that went to the workshop in May. I am writing to you to thank you and to tell you that I passed the exam with 3 of my friends ( first time that I took it). We took it on 10/11/08. I am so happy and passing this information to other friends that will be taking the exam next year.
So, thank you again for your enormous help. Your material was so helpful and I used it up to the last minute.

My Regards and I wish you my best wishes for this Winter Holidays and for 2009.

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your support. I found out a couple of weeks ago that I barely made my goal of passing with over 80% correct answers. The exam was very difficult. I was shocked at times with how challenging the questions were. I had literally no idea how I did when I left. I was amazed that I did as well as I did. Thank you again. In hindsight, your materials really helped I know I probably would not have passed if I didn’t have the FSO study guide.
Thank you again,

Just wanted to let you know that I took the MFT exam on October 7th and recently found out that I achieved an 84.5% score – more than enough for licensure at both the basic and clinical levels in Kansas. I am now officially an LMFT. This email is to thank you for the study materials which I used to prepare and which you and your organization developed.
The study guide was awesome! I supplemented it with ethics material from AAMFT. I felt very prepared. One suggestion I have is that you incorporate more material from the DSM and HIPAA – both areas were not covered much in the study guide but were included on the exam itself. I followed your advice and spent the 90 days preceding the exam in daily study. Overall, I will recommend your materials to others who are preparing for the exam. Thanks again.
Blessings and peace,
Neil B., LMFT——-
PS For what it’s worth, I never did achieve better than 60% on your practice exams. I took the AMFTRB practice exam online and did about what I did on the actual exam. That suggests to me that your exams are harder than the exam itself.
